Lyrical collage

" All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream" I wanted to create a lyrical collage that went along with this quote because I like to believe that our imaginations push us to think past what we see in every day life. This is why I have a human eye(mine) pictured and a person (me) looking through a lens. In stead of the landscape appearing to be a photo someone took, it has an intricate spacey/ kaleidoscope looking background. I wanted it to play off imagination and reality.

I made the fence by creating a brush stroke myself, and i also created some brushes from things i got off of the internet.

Self portrait animation

For this piece I used a self portrait of myself from last winter. I put a lot of time into this and I think I did a great job with it. I was able to work with the mesh tool as well as a few other ones you showed us in class. I tried my best to put a lot of detail into it. especially in the hands.
